Make it Crafty post

Hello there, apologies for not being around much
unfortunately the dreaded
Migraine Monkey
paid me a visit this week
and for 3 days he played havoc with my head!

So I am somewhat relieved that I managed to complete my DT piece for
Make it Crafty

Having looked at the dreary weather outside I felt I needed to create
something sunny............and I had a blast with that red hair!!!

And I doodled in the bushes behind the girls just to set the scene.
(Just remember to use a pen suitable for alcohol markers or it may bleed)

SUPPLIES

Hi Jane I hope your feeling better..as I've gotten older my Migraine's have disappeared..so at least you have that to look forward to.
I adore this weeks pic... can you tell me what colour's you use for the shadows... for example where the line of her dress touches the top of her leg... I find black a little to dark so have been trying a deep purple or navy, are your shadows a mixture of colours?

A wonderful card, Jane! At your age - I don't think you should be doodling in the bushes but perhaps it was your migraine that made you lose control! Hope you are all better now! Hugs, Lesley

Sorry you've been dealing with a migraine. Been there, done that, hate going back.

On a happier note, I just wanted to say that while I don't get over here to comment on every card design (your posts are delivered to my inbox), I wanted you to know how much I appreciate you sharing your amazing talent with the rest of the world. I could only hope to colour half as good as you one day. Your work always blows me away.

OMWord Jane - your colouring is perfection! The "doodled" trees look as if they are part of the image - what a talented lady you are!
Hope that nasty migraine monkey has disappeared now.
