Oh you idiot!

Do you remember Clueless?
normally when painting in watercolour I try and get the background done first....
but on this occasion I thought I could be clever and do it afterwards - what an idiot, basically I wrecked him!

I was livid with myself, what was I thinking!!
so here is Clueless II
complete with "mushy" background!

Clueless by SCACD
Painted in Watercolours
DP from stash

Update.....from some of the comments you've made I didn't explain well enough that the second image is "totally new" - I painted the background and then Clueless the second!
Here is what is left of the original Clueless - I tried to cut him out because I had messed up the background so badly but watercolour paper is very think & I was struggling to do it neatly!!

I hopefully won't make that mistake again!

Thanks for dropping by
have a great weekend

OK, here's the deal, he may not have turned out how you wanted him to, but he certainly isn't ruined hunny! I love the slightly fuzzy background, it pushes him to the front, and he looks like he is stepping out of the woods to give someone a mild surprise (I say mild coz who could be scared of him, really). I think this is perfectly adorable, and if you hadn't said anything none of us would have been any the wiser. He is FABULOUS. Nuff said? Hugs, in awe as always, xx

Clueless the Second looks amazing, and the background looks pretty cool indeed! Total gorgeousness. :)

I am clueless to how you think you ruined this lol. This is far far far from such a term. The whole piece as well as the 1st is fab :)
