This was an adorable image to colour, but I think I had most fun doing the background and those little sheep.......would you like to know how to add little wooly bleaters to your backgrounds?

All you need is a colourless blender and a grey marker, not too dark as your sheep are in the background and as things move further away from you they lose colour intensity.  Just colour your background as normal, in this case grass and then with your colourless blender draw some oval shapes, hey they don't have to be perfect - not too big, again remember they are far off in the distance.  Then with your grey marker add a head and a couple of legs - give it a go, they are really easy & add dimension to your work!

Here is the sketch you need to follow

Ta ta for now

Oh boy finally back in cyberspace

Hello everyone, how are you?
I guess some of you have been wondering why I've been a tad quiet.  Well I have been having computer problems, technology is fine and dandy when working but when it goes wrong it can be a complete nightmare, I miraculously managed to save all my files (phew!) but the laptop has been returned to Dell!

Now I know I have missed quite a few deadlines with my DT work and I'd like to say a very big thank you to my Design Teams for being so patient with me.

I am now back with a lovely new Macbook Pro (thanks to my very kind husband) and hopefully I'll get used to this new operating system soon :)

Lets get started with a Little Miss Muffet creation

Stamp: Santa's Coming Tonight by CC Stamps
Copic with a dash of pencil enhancement
DP from stash

I had great fun with this image & especially love the little pooch, which of course in my head is a Westie!

That's all for now folks

Fearless Fairy Tales Beauty and the Beast

Little Miss Muffet Stamps
are releasing a new set of images called
"Fearless Fairy Tales"
and I was thrilled when Barbara asked me to showcase one on my blog
and here it is..........

Beauty and the Beast

It would appear I bucked the trend and opted to use pencils on kraft instead of markers
(For those who like the details I used a combination of Caran D'Ache Pablos, Caran D'Ache Luminance and Faber Castell Polychromos)

Here they are in close up

I had such fun with that dress, trying to get "realistic" folds, and as for the Beast's fur - a challenge but one that I am pretty darned happy with!

and finally......

a black and white "arty" shot!
